This site is a tribute to Alfons Mucha, a Czech Art Nouveau artist.

This unique style touched me first in my childhood. His serie of prints The Times of the Day was hanging on my bedroom wall for years. They left a deep impression in me and I began to like Art Nouveau even if I didn't know about it at that time.

Joining an internet community of TarValon.net in May 2004 caused the need of an avatar to go with my name on the community message boards. I searched a long time and then as a lightning it struck me - Alfons Mucha and his beautiful women. I created an avatar of his print The Moon from the serie Four Stars and decided to create other avatars from his works for other women to enjoy.
